Dear Brothers,
As an undergrad whose composites have now likely migrated to storage in the attic of the chapter house (IYKYK), I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ernie Schmidt before he passed. What a class act and genuine fellow. It was truly an experience to hear first-hand stories of the brothers that helped secure the location of our storied fraternity house for generations to come. Ernie truly embodied the motto of "Give, expecting nothing thereof."
I jumped at the chance, as soon as it started, to join the Ernie Schmidt Club. What a great way to honor one of the greatest Phi Kaps I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'm grateful to know that the money I donate monthly is going to ensure that future generations of Phi Kaps at CWRU can continue to live and learn in one of the coolest houses out there. So many fun stories!
